My Strategy

   My Strategy
     What is the point of a diet? To lose weight. To become healthier. To feel better. All true. But, it is simply not realistic to be on a diet you're whole life. So the solution to this problem is to incorporate healthy eating habits into our everyday lives. This means finding our personal balance between what we think tastes good, AND what we know is good for our bodies. Healthy, wholesome food can be absolutely delicious!

How have you been? I have been great. Lately, my mom and I have been juicing. It is so much fun! We put all sorts of veggies and fruits in it. I feel so great after I drink one.

Green Smoothie Recipe

Hello once again everyone! Today I will be posting my own recipe for a Green Smoothie. I want to start drinking these more because they are so good and so nutritious. You can really put whatever you want in them but here is how I make mine. ~~

Green Smoothie Recipe
Makes 1 Smoothie
To start, I take a handful of baby green spinach leaves and put that in the blender
with some water. I blend that until its liquefied. Next I add a whole avocado (pit removed). You
can cut it into smaller pieces to help the blender out. I usually do. Once that is blended, I take a banana
add that into the blender. The banana covers up most of the flavor of the spinach and avacado. You can also add other fruits like blueberries. Then, for some protein and sweetness I add a spoonful of peanut butter.
These smoothies are much better when their cold, so I suggest either putting ice in it or putting it in the freezer for ten minutes before you choke it down. Lets be honest, the banana may cover up the taste, but your still drinking avocado and spinach..which is not very appetizing

      Hello Everyone! Welcome to my very first post! This blog is going to tell all about how you can get 
healthier in a simple way, and also have fun. I'll be posting recipes, experiences, and tips on how I got control of my eating habits. So first, I'll tell you a little bit about myself.
          My name is Emma Suchy. I am a teenager in a small town. I have a regular life. I go to school, have homework, I have a dog, and I love my friends and family. I enjoy helping and motivating people to make healthier choices, and I hope this blog helps you!
